Sian Cox ‘In your dreams’
Captured within Regents Park, London, artist Sian Cox dragged a suitcase containing the entire set for this series to the location. The result was a cottagecore picnic that would visit you in a beautiful dream.
“This shoot was a LONG time in the works because of covid. Maybe in general. I always wanted to shoot a dreamy cottagecore themed picnic. More specifically on film! I thought about it for a while and decided on Robyn, an amazing friend and even cuter model and Evita, beautiful and a great film photographer in her own right. I handpicked all the set and clothing myself from various thrift stores, Robyn provided the food and Evita ordered a custom cake to complete the look. In full view of other picnicing groups. We had a lot of fun, ate a lot of cake and created something I class as the best set I’ve ever shot.”
