Shitty Interview No.94
This week in the lead up to one of the most exciting parties of the year we catch up with one of Australia’s most highly regarded creative entrepreneurs & restaurateur Maurice Terzini, best known for establishing several truly iconic Australian dining venues. This Saturday (24th Aug) Maurice teams up with LA Icon “A Club Called Rhonda” at the Lansdowne venue which has recently announced its new 5am licence. It’s gonna be BIG!
Meeting over lunch with local artist/producer Beni Single in 2018; Maurice Terzini, Loren Granich aka GODDOLLARS (A Club Called Rhonda) & Mirk Milan (Amsterdam’s Night Mayor) chats about cities after dark to plant the seeds for A Club Called Rhonda’s journey to Australia. Fast forward one year & that dream is becoming a reality.
Since 2008, A Club Called Rhonda has created a community that unifies the worlds of dynamic and tasteful music from boundary-pushing artists, fearless gender self- expression, sex-positive affirmative sexuality, and highbrow hedonism. Rhonda INTL builds an extravagant space for the young and the relentless to celebrate the highest ideals of genre-defying dance music, aggressive glamour, and open-mindedness.
