Ebony Boadu is a renowned tastemaker, deeply plugged into the global music scene & her exuberant energy translates both in her sets & through the mic. Her obsession with music led her to hosting spots on FBi, SBS & MTV, before joining triple j in 2019 to soundtrack your Saturday nights on triple j’s house party. In that time, Ebony’s fast-growing popularity also saw her pick up peak fill-in shifts on Drive, Good Nights, the Hip Hop Show & eventually to co-hosting the coveted flagship breakfast show.
Ebony started DJing at her own parties back in 2016 & since then, her expertise & dynamic sets have seen her become one of the most in-demand DJs in Australia. She’s played sets at all major festivals, like Splendour In The Grass & Falls Festival, supported the likes of Stormzy & Kaytranada in addition to her own headline tours.

Sticks & Stones: What’s something that is annoying you today?
Ebony Boadu: The fact my crush won’t text me.
Sticks & Stones: Last thing you ate?
Ebony Boadu: The lime out of my margarita.
Sticks & Stones: Have you done anything really weird this week?
Ebony Boadu: I have to wake up at 4am everyday, I still think that’s pretty weird.
Sticks & Stones: Best thing about your job?
Ebony Boadu: I get to laugh a lot and I’ve met a lot of amazing people.

Ebony Boadu: Always sleepy.
Sticks & Stones: When was the last time you tripped over in front of people?
Ebony Boadu: I honestly can’t remember.
Sticks & Stones: What would you say is your best skill?
Ebony Boadu: I’d like to think I’m a pretty good DJ. I can also parallel park pretty well though.
