Tony Angelo ‘Kate 2000’
Tony Angelo is an underground musician in Italian punk bands and began producing independent photographic works and short films in 2016. Typically he takes pictures inspired by the aesthetics of the 90s B-movie. Today he presents his latest series entitled ‘Kate 2000’.
“KATE 2000 is a self-produced photographic project whose only model is a young Russian woman, living in northeastern Italy. Seven different cameras were used in ten days of work, the photos have been collected in a limited edition self-printed book.
Kate is like a muse, beautiful and fearful like a comet. Photography serves to fix her passage in memory, in her young age, a moment in which she can have everything, and nothing, in the same day.”
