Mona Cordes ‘Mona does London Fashion Week’
Last month models, designers, buyers & the fashion elite brightened up the streets of London as they made their way toward AW17 London Fashion Week. Joining them was German raised, London based photographer, Mona Cordes, equipped with her film camera. I don’t usually love fashion week photos, but I’m sure you can see why I fell hard in love with this series! The street fashion is perfectly imperfect, much like the photos themselves, & its this realness that makes everything, in my opinion, so much better!
Mona captured street style & catwalk from a handful of her favourite designers’ shows including; Marques’Almeida, Xiao Li, Han Wen, A.W Robertson, Jamie Wei Huang, Phoebe English, Steventai, Katie Ann McGuigan. Somehow she also managed to fit some time in to help ‘On Off’, dressing models, & anything that needed doing backstage.
