Hila Kadi send us postcards from her interrupted travels to the Sinai Peninsula featuring wardrobe by Something Very Special.
I was traveling to the half island of Sinai. The story became interesting when there wasn’t an option to pass the Egyptian border with my cameras so I had to think of an alternative way to shoot. Long story short, at the last moment I bought a “one-time use” analogue camera with 27 frames which I was sure would all turn out very bad. To my surprise, I got these results. Featured in the pictures are my muse Israela and Abdallah a teenage boy who is part of the crew. I am thankful for this experience and what came out of it.”
