Inspired by film, Christy Flaherty’s work tends to focus on a mysterious & powerful ‘femme fatale’ character. Her latest starring Constance Noble is no exception.
“This shoot specifically is an ode to all the video vixens who inspired me growing up. Constance showed up in black, latex dress so we turned on some 90’s hacker music & shot through the night.”
And since my first camera was a VHS camcorder, I’ve recently started incorporating analog footage back into my shoots. In such a sleek/modern world, it feels almost sacrilegious to say but I’ve always loved the grain, static, and unpredictable glitchy-ness that comes with VHS tapes.”
