Ski Mask The Slump God – Catch Me Outside
This is my favourite song by Ski Mask, and probably the only video clip i’ve seen him in. Cole Bennett always does crazy abstract edits on such simple footage in what seems to be on the spot locations. It keeps this style of simple rap videos exciting even when the artist in the video isn’t even doing anything awesome.
Travis Scott – Butterfly Effect
This video just has so much to look at. The water scenes with the girls and butterflies are amazing.
Lana Del Ray – National Anthem
Since this video clip came out, It’s been one of those ones that i’ll always go back to and not get sick of. I love that Lana Del Ray goes all the way with keeping up the lo fi videos and 50s – 60s Americana theme.
RIN – Blackout
They nailed every scene in this video. The outfits, locations and the old school filmography style all went so well together. The coolest part was the studio photo shoot scene towards the end.
Toro Y Moi – You and I
This man is so regular and relatable to me. It’ not easy to make something so minimal so appealing to look at, but he seems to always get it right every video. It’s amazing that this was done in one shot as well.
