‘Chicken Wings (official video)’
Samm Henshaw releases the official video for his new single ‘Chicken Wings’, the third episode in his ‘Untidy Soul’ mini-series. Directed by Jim Pilling, we see Sonny – the lead character played by Samm – struggle to stay focused at his job at ‘Henny’s Wings’ until he discovers an abandoned suitcase and things take a strange turn… The song is filled with horns, keys, energy and big band moments as Samm preaches to give the ‘heart what it wants’ and to not take life too seriously.
Ahead of his debut album ‘Untidy Soul’ out 28th January, Samm has been keeping himself busy with a sold-out show at Omera, a mouth-watering collab with Patty&Bun, gracing the front cover of Notion Magazine and is now in the middle of a US tour. Samm has already given us a taste of what’s to come with the long-awaited album, with stand out singles ‘Still Broke’ and ‘Grow’ which have dropped throughout 2021. The project is accompanied by a mini-series that sees Samm step into the acting seat as we follow his character, Sonny, through life’s trials and tribulations. Musically diverse, Samm ends the year on a high having not only consistently released unrivalled music, but we also saw him launch his own label, Dorm Seven, star in his own mini-series, launch a merch line and deliver scores for Hollywood movies to name just a few. As the album quickly approaches he continues to offer us an unfiltered and uncompromising version of himself with authenticity and style.
